At the instance «f Mr Taverner, Agent-General ior'-o"ictoria, with a view to •safe-guarding the interests of producers of Australian .wines, the latter carrying a greater proportion of alcohol compared with the French, Mr Winston Churchill has decided to hear the Australian objectors to Franco's overtures under the. new treaty for French wines, to facilitate 'her exports to Britain of thin wines.
