ALLEGED BIGAMY.
.[PBESS ASSOCIATION.] DUNEDIN, last night. A sensational arrest was effected this afternoon when a man, about 38, - who ■ is alleged to have three living •wives, was apprehended on a warrant charging him with that he did on 4th February, 1904, at Dunedin, being a married peraony, through the form of marriage' with a single woman. Flynn, who is described as a carpenter and laborer, is said to have come from Launceston about seven years ago. He married a girl at Arrowtown. He subsequently came to town and is said to have married another woman in 1904. It is further alleged . tbat , last month Flynn married a third woman under the name of Gilway. He has had children, by all three wives. Some time agcj his second wife became suspicious''and got an admission from Flynn that he was already married) and she then refused to have anything to do iv'rth him. 'By' a- curious coincidence fhS.'third wife, after coming out of the maternity hospital destitute, was takfen to the ,: ' second wife's house. Suspicions wero subsequently aroused and both met Flynn in the street, where a storniy scene- ensued? an in-'foi-hiation afterwards being laid.
