A -large number of bowlers are taking advantage of tho beautiful day to indulge in the above-mentioned past-time. ■& ■ . In a junior championship singles match, Fahey defeated Hooper by 2 points- after a very evenly contested game, tho scores being 18—16. Considerable interest attaches to tho feathers match, between the holders, Messrs Drummond, Lamb, Farrow, and Potts (skip) and Messrs Greenwood, Calder, Wright, and Clark (skip), the challengers. The latter started off bowling strongly, and soon established a lead of five points. However, the holders, the further they went, played the better, and on the 10th head, the score was: Challengers 11, holders 8. Play, is proceeding as we go to press. -
