PUPILS' CONCERT.

The third concert of Mr A. E. .Savage's pupils will take place at the Drill Hall next Friday, December 4, commencing at 7.45 p.m. sharp. All the pupils have their respective items well rehearsed, and it will be interesting to hear what amount of tone pan be produced in such a large hall by the little ones, some of whom are as young as seven years:-".' Tho orchestra will number 26 performers, and for their first item have chosen Mozart's minuet and trio in ; E flat, a bright and tuneful movement from this famous old master's symphony. They will also perform an American sketch, illustrating a festive occasion of the Southern darkies, introducing sand dances, singing and big-foot dances, in which the clarionet will be heard to advantage. Mr W. J. Melville, an excellent baritone new to Dannevirke, will render "The Veterans," and Miss Belle Pettit will sing in Italian Braga's "La Serenata," with flute and violin obbligato. The whole will conclude with "The North School Cadets," a spirited and brilliant number composed and arranged by Mr A. E. Savage, and dedicated to the '■■ cadets of the North School.
