The Wellington Dramatic Glub will make "its first appearance" before a Daiinevirke audience on Tuesday next, when they will produce that brilliantly successful comedy, "The Guvnor," a piece in. which the club have recently played to crowded^ houses at the Opera House, Welling^ ton, ' where both pjess and public were of the one opinion that the production was a huge success. Mr J. A. Clayton, who plays the deaf /boatbuilder, was in the. original cast when "The Guvnor" was first produced by the great • and only Billy Elton, who will be remembered by New Zealand theatre-goers as one of the greatest comedians that ever visited the colonies; Box plan opens. at Bartlett's to-morrow morning.
