The Takapau T«nnis - and Croquet i Club held their second annual dance on Wednesday evening. TJnfortuitately the weather was not^ll that . could be desired, and consequently the attendance was not /large. Mr : Van Brunt, hon. secretary, had erery^ thing well managed, and his eiier- * gies well deserved a better house. The ladies provided the supper in a very excellent manner,, and were "thanked by Mr W. Hobson. The music was supplied by Miss Maroney^ and was very much appreciated by the dune-' ers. Mr T. Power Was an efficient M.C.
