It was also resolved that the committee take united action to secure the return of candidates pledged to form a distinct Labor Union Parliament, and to abstain from identifying themselves with either Government or Opposition parties. 1 ' Already it has been decided that candidates must pledge themselves to support the committee's platform, and if elected to hand in their resignation if they depart from its planks while in Parliament.
