PROVED BEST BY TESTMURTON'S SHEEP DIPPING FLUID. TWENTY Yoars ago a committee appointed by the Canterbury A. and P. Association conducted a vial ot various sheep dipping compounds used in that district. The following points wero taken into consideration in deciding the merits of tho dips: — j 1. Bost conditioned wool at shear- [ ing, having especial regard to strength, degree of stain, and ; brightness of the wool. i 2. Tho most effectual destroyer of | parasites. | 3. Tho most effectual preventive I from reinfection. 4. Effect on sheep at dipping, and general character of the dip. Tho maximum of points that could be gained was 32. and, after, exhaustive trials, MURTON'S INVENTION POINTS LACED FIRST WITH *8 Those who have tried the various dips in Now Zealand are of tho same opinion to-day — that Murton's Invention has no equal as an effectual tlestroyer of parasites, giving a bright and clean fleece with a good tip. This fluid is made by a man who has Had rorty years' experience in the wool trade, and who has devoted years or scientific investigation to bringing tho dip up to its present splendid state of efficiency. OPINIONS OF USERS: Last year over six million of sheep were dipped with Murton's invention in Isew Zealand alone. Messrs Wililams, the well-known rimholders of Hawke's Bay. have placed an order with us for sufficient to dip 500,000 sheep. Tho Manager N.Z. Loan and Mercantil Agency Co., Ltd., Wanganui. & Dear Sir, — I have much pleasure in saying that after using the above for 5 years I am entirely satisfied with c l c *? not say too much in favor ot the Dip. My sheep, year after year, come in free from ticks and ace ,with the wool in splendid order, results I havo never before obtained from the use of any other dip. Thisstatement is quite unsolicited, and » given in the hope that others may baable to reap somo of the benefits I have obtained by the use of Murton'a Champion Sheep Dipping Fluid. Yours truly, D. S. GLASGOW. Messrs Mackersey Bros., Hawke's Bay, wrote: Wo have just finished shearing one of our flocks of ewes passed through your Dip last season-, ! and havo much satisfaction in saying it is quite free from lice and ticks. Iho wool is soft, and without the slightest stain. We have no hesitation in saying it is the best Dip we have ever used. Mr Andrew Logan, manager, Hawke's Bay, wrote: Having used your Sheep Dip last season on 21,000 of the sheep in my charge, I can recommend it to all in charge of a flock. It is easily mixed, and a thorough destroyer of all parasite life, and cleanses tho skin of the sheep. I have not had the flock in my charge in as good condition since dipping was first introduced into this district. I have tried several others, and I consider yours the best of any that I have yet used. Another severe test by Jas. Wallace, Esq., Papatoitoi, Auckland: I havo used Murton's Sheep Dip, and have proved it to be the most efficient in destroying both lice and ticks. The sheep have since mixed with others infested (with vermin), and show no signs of lice or ticks, though eight months ago, proving all that is claimed for the Dip. I would recommend all sheepfarmers to try it, and feel certain they will be satisfied with results. — (Signed) Jas. Wallace, Papatoitoi. From E. Elgar, Featherston: In reply to your letter of the 13th May, I found Murton's Dip one of tho best I have used. I prefer the lin 100 strength to tho lin 200. We shall use it for all our sheep next year. You are at liberty to make what use you like of this opinion. From Mr Henry R. Bunny, Ahiaruho, Gladstone: I am very pleased with Murton's Dip, it has given every satisfaction. The sheep are looking well after dipping, and apparently free from insect life ; this, in conjunction with the fact that tho Dip is the most readily prepared I have ever used, makes it, I consider, one of thobest in the market.
