PROVED BEST BY TEST. MURTQN'S SHEEP DIPPING FLUID. TWENTY Years ago a committee appointed by the Canterbury A. and P. Association conducted & trial of various sheep dipping compounds used in that district. The following points were taken into consideration in deciding the merits of the dips: — 1. Best conditioned wool at shearing, having especial regard to strength, degree of stain, and i brightness of the wool. i 2. The most effectual destroyer of parasites. 3. The most effectual preventire from reinfection. 4. Effect on sheep at dipping, and general character of the dip. The maximum of points that could be gained was 32. and, after exhausS7fo tri T als ' MU RTON'S INVENTION WAS PLACED FIRST WITH 28 Those who have tried the various dips in New Zealand are of the same opinion to-day — that Murton's In-v-ention has no equal as an effectual destroyer of parasites, giving a bright oim clean fleece, with a good tip. i j ? md ls made k v a man wno kas had forty years' experience in the wool trade, and who has devoted years I of scientific investigation to bringing [ tho dip up to its present splendid state of efficiency. OPINIONS OF USERS: Last year over six million of sheep were dipped with Murton's invention in New Zealand alone. Messrs Wililams, the well-known runholders of Hawke's Bay, hav=e placed an order with us for sufficient to dip 500,000 sheep. TLe Manager N. 2. Loan and Mercantil Agency Co., Ltd., Wanganui. Dear Sir, — I have much pleasure in saying that after using the above for 5 years I am entirely satisfied with it. I cannot say too much in favor of the Dip. My sheep, year after year, come in free from ticks and lice ,with the wool in splendid order, results I have never before obtained from the use of any other dip. This statement is quite unsolicited, and ia given in the hope that others may be able to reap some of the benefits I have obtained by the use of Murton'* Champion Sheep Dipping Fluid. Yours truly, D. S. GLASGOW. Messrs Mackersey Bros., Hawke's Bay, wrote: We have just finished shearing one of our flocks of ewes passed through your Dip last season, and have much satisfaction in saying it is quite free from lice and ticks. Iho wool is soft, and without the slightest stain. We have no hesitation in saying it is the best Dip we have ever used. Mr Andrew Logan, manager, Hawke's Bay, wrote: Having used your Sheep Dip last season on 21,000 of the sheep in my charge, I can recommend it to all in charge of a flock. It is easily mixed, and a thorough destroyer of all parasite life, and cleanses the skin of the sheep. I have not had the flock in my charge in as good condition since dipping was first introduced into this district. I have tried several others, and I consider yours the best of any that I have yet used. Another severe test by Jas. Wallace, Esq., Papatoitoi, Auckland: I have used Murton's Sheep Dip, and have proved it to be the most efficient in destroying both lice and ticks. The sheep have since mixed with others infested (with vermin), and show no signs of lice or ticks, though eight months ago, proving all that is claimed for the Dip. I would recommend all sheepfarmers to try it, and feel certain they will be satisfied with results. — (Signed) Jas. Wallace, Papatoitoi. From E. Elgar, Featherston: In reply to your letter of the 13th May, I found Murton's Dip one of the best I have used. I prefer the lin 100 strength to the lin 200. We shall use it for all our sheep next year. You are at liberty to make what use you like of this opinion. From Mr Henry R. Bunny, Ahiaruho. Gladstone : lam very pleased with Murton's Dip, it has given every satisfaction. The sheep are looking well after dipping, and apparently free from insect life ; this, in conjunction with the fact that the Dip is the most readily prepared I have ever used, makes it, I consider, one of the beat in the market.
