HORTH SCHOOL COMMITTEE.

- The monthly liivetiny; of the above , was held last evening. Present— -- Messrs A. Webber (chairman). Coltman, Frame, Martin, and Rev. E. Robertshawt's Correspondence was received from th.c headmaster, drawing attention to the drainage scheme as being carried out at the North School, it being different to the plans adopted, and pomttug out its nnsuita\>ility. The Chairman reported that Inspector Hill and himself had visited the school and inspected the drainage scheme, and he thought they could do nothing until the inspector's report was received. "" Rev. Kobertshawe thought that tho committee had strong reasons for complaint on the grounds that the work had not been carried out during the holidays, and also that tho work was being carried out without specifications. He held that the committee should have been asked to do the work, and then they could havo seen that it was clone satisfactorily. - — It was decided to write the Board on the lines suggested by Rev. Rob■fertshawe. Accounts amounting to £23 were were passed for payment. Messrs Coltman and Eucrsen wore appointed^a visiting committee for the ensuing* month.Mr Frame brought up the. matter of a shelter shod for the girls, and also" the continuation of the asphalting. It was decided to apply to the Board for the shed. Tho meeting then adjourned.
