At Kalgoorlie three masked men during the middle of the night entered the battery house of the Golden Range mine aud bound the watchman, Jacobson. While two of them were removing amalgam the tbird guarded the watchman who, under pretence of the cold, was removed to near the boilers, where he managed to get his hand free and blew the whistle. The robbers decamped with iMo worth of booty.
