(Per Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph— Copyright.) Pabis, March 13. By means of the Westphalian respiratory apparatus a hundred bodies were recovered from the Courrieres. March 14. The Socialists,. at Courrieres, affcer the funeral of the victims of the colliery disaster, made violent speeches de- | nouncing the mine owners, amid cries of "down with the capitalists and murderers." A full investigation is urged in connection with the disaster. The excitement is increasing and the men have struck for a ten per cent increase in wages. A strike is spreading in other districts. (Received this day, at 8.47 a.m.) Pabis, March 14. Engineers assert that men are still alive in the remote galleries at Courriers. A relief fund for the families of the victims has beeii started in Auckland.
