[to the editor] • .'Siu, — I consider your sub-leader of yesterday's issue with reference to ""Drainage Works," should awaken the ratepayers to the necessity -k)£ choosing shrewd and economical commercial representatives to manage the .Borough affairs. Either some of the •'Councillors are incompetent for the position or they do not give the attention to -what they have pledged themselves to. I sincerely hope and trust, as you mea-i-tioned, that there is yet time to recon--sider the question before committing the Borough to any unnecessary waste, — I -am, etc., Ratepayer.
