THE PRESEVERANCE MINES.
A Severe Report. (Per Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph - Copyright) Received This day, 10.11 a.m. Pebth, This day. The report of the Royal Commission in connection with the Great Boulder Perseverance Mine is a lengthy document. It finds that it has been the policy of the directors religiously to prevent any information of the working and true position of the mine becoming known, and keeping many important matters from the knowledge of the shareholders. It would appear tliat the chairman of the directors, Prank Gard- , ncr and some of the directors, have throughout advanced their own interests, and shown an utter disregard of the interests of the shareholders. The report makes a recommendation for preserving the interests of the share- \ holders in the mines, and preventing a recurrence of the abuses disclosed at the enquiry.
