SATISFIED
Mr Jones was very fond, of fishing, but was very unlucky at that sport. He was invited to spend a few weeks cruising in his friend's yacht. ,
Bising early one morning, and haying nothing to employ his time until breakfast was served, he thought he would start fishing. '
When he was called to breakfast he asked the captain whether he thought it would be any 'good for him to leore the line over the side. The captain, wishing to have some fun with him, replied in the affirmative. ,
Whilst Jones was at breakfast the captain hung a dried haddock on to the line; When the fisherman came to haul up the line he remarked, in a rery surprised tone: .■ - " : ""'" '■' ■' ..'■
"Well, I didn't know before whether they did catch those haddocks already dried; but now I am certain of it."
