I 4^— The New Zealand Loaii and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report as follows on their Takapau sale on Tuesday :— There was a large yarding sheep aud a few horses. A full attendauco was present, and all lineß with the exception of one wore cleared under the hammer at prices fully up to recent quotations. Old ewes in lamb sold from 3s to oa 2d ; Bouud mouthed ewes in lamb, up to8s; empty ewes in fair condition. 8m Id • lambs, 4s 6d, down to 2s 3d for culls ; two to four tooth wethers, 9s to 10s. Springing heifers, L.4 ss ; two year old Btt»oT9, L4 7s 6d ; wniill weanerß, 29s 6d, Horses, from L3 to Ll2, according to quality. Williams and Kettle, Limited, report on their Takapau sale on Tuesday : — -A fair yarding of sheep and a few head of cattle came forward. A good attendance of settlers aud others put in an appearance. Biddiug was well up to the values, enabling a satisfactory clearance. Ewes from 7s 6d to 9s 3d, wethers 8s 3d, for cull two-tooths to 98 9d, for a line of four-tooth lambs from 4s 7d shorn to 7s 6d iv wool. Weaper steers of poor quality 30s, two yeor old steers L 4 ss, store cows in low condition L 2 Ids. Hacks from L 4 15s to LlO.
