Comparpd with the polling in the year J899, this shows a numerical increase t>f 17i335,/or 1201 percent On the part of the men, and 17,782 or 1465 per cent on the part of the women, clearly showing that the lajtter are now taking greater interest ni local option matters than they iormerlydid. j ■
