Pollard's Opera Company
. _ ; —^ Many companies have gained popularity, but few as consistently as Mr Pollard's talented combination. On this occasion we are to have introduced to us a musical comedy that ran for over two years at the Gaiety Theatre, London, and has met with surprising success wherever the Pellards have staged it in New Zealand. There are no less than IS distinct characters in "The Messenger Boy," tbe cast being as follows :— Hooker Pasha, Mr J. Ralston ; Cosmos Bey, Mr J. O'Sullivan ; Comto de Pleury, Mr C. Stone; Tommy Bang (The Messenger Boy/, Mr W. 8. Fercy ; Rosa, Miss Gertie Campion ; Nora, Mies Connie Buttel ; -Isabel Blyth, Miss Alice Pollard; Lady Winifred, Miss Nina Oibo rue ; Lady Punehestown, ,MUs Nellie Wilson Mrs Bang, MiBS Alice Edgar. Playgoers are reminded that the s«osoa of the Pollard. Opera Company is for positively one night only — Wednesday evening. The box plan was opened to-day at Mr Bartlett'f shop.
