AT a Special Meeting of the Dannevirke Borough Council, held on THURSDAY, 2 1st day of November, 1901, at the Bbroogh Council Office, Dannevirke, the following resolution was adopted :— That it be a Special Order that this Council raisa a Speoial Loan (under "Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886,") for the purpose of providing drainage for the Central Ward of the Bor. ough of Dannevirke, together with engineering, supervision, one year's interest on loan, and contingent expenses of £6000. The security for such .Loan to he a Special Rate of 9d in the £ on all rateable property within, th a Central, Ward for payment of interest and sinking fund. And that all steps as required by the " Municipal Corporations A ct, 1 900," and the "Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886," and its amendments, for the raising of • loans, be taken for the raising of this Special Loan.
