McKAY, of the firm of Irvine and MacEachern, Launcostou, was tho holder of Policy No. 39,709, taken out by him on tho 19th Octobor, 1888, for £1000. Ho paid only four annual premiums of £21 7s 6d each, or £97 10s in all, and died on the 29th June, 1892. The Society at once paid tho sum of 10s being the £1000 assured, together WITH ALL THE MONEY HB HAD PAID IN PREMIUMS. .
