AUCKLAND ITEMS.
(per pbess association.) Auckland, July 15. During the flood at Wnikato two native women living at Otorohanga were drowned. Amongst the steerage passengers from Sydney to-day by the Mariposa are fifty Austrians, who have come to seek employment on the gumflelds in the Auckland district.
