STABBING AFFRAY,

(PER KRESS ASSOCIATION.) Dunedin, July 13. A rather serious stabbing affray took place at a dance held at Middlemarsh last night. Two men named George McGarr and Samuel Callan had a quarrel, when the former stabbed Callan in four different places. McGarr has been arrested and remanded to Dunedin. Callan, who 13 not seriously injured, has been brought to the Dunedin hospital. McGarr will be charged to-morrow with unlawfully wounding.
