Ax Coblentz and Saarlouis the police recently prohibited smoking in the streets by youths under 16 ; and at Treves a byelaw of 1857 has just been brought into force, which imposes a fine of from three to nine marks, or imprisonment in default, on boys under 16 who smoke in the streets and in places of amusement.
