AUCKLAND COLLECTS £52,000
In connection with the £100.000 appeal for funds to endow a chair of obstetrics and gynaecology at the Auckland Hospital Mr. Horace Bull has presented a cheque for £508 to the Mayoress of Auckland, Mrs. J. A. C. Allum, being proceeds of a concert in the Town Hall last night. This brings the total amount collected by the women of Auckland to £14,000, and the amount collected in Auckland City to £52,000.
