Kidnapping, Robbery And Armed Hold-Ups FACTORY WAGES SAVED Rec. 2 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 6. Three more cases of gangsterism quickly followed a case of kidnapping and jewellery theft reported yesterday, says the Evening News. An armed gang raided a store and escaped with 100 Christmas turkeys. A kidnapping gang set free a young woman after finding that she did not possess keys because of which she had been enticed into a motor car. An armed gang on a country road did ndt succeed in capturing factorv wages when the intended victims sharply reversed their car away from a road-block. An earlier message stated that last evening kidnappers tied up the manageress of a jewellery firm and robbed the shop of jewellery valued at £15,425.
