RESTAURANT CONDITIONS
During the war years we in Auckland have exercised, and rightly, too, a considerable amount of patience with the most unsatisfactory service and general state of disorder m many of our city restaurants. The time has now cbme I think, for a definite cleaning uo 'of personnel and accoutrements. Cutlery and certainly crockery, is in much more plentiful supply, so that the disgustingly chipped cups so dangerous at this particular time should be scrapped. It would be a considerable relief to the public if the authorities were to render such excellent service in this direction as they have already done in the bakehouses. NAUSEATED '
