A RECORD-HOLDER
Scottish Emperor took some little time to strike form this season, but his impressive winning performance at New Brighton at the beginning of the month augurs well for his chances at the Wellington meeting. Scottish Emperor's record mile and a half in 3.10 3-5, when he gave Cameronian 12 yards and a beating at Trentham last season, is also not likely to be forgotten by the public.
