Those travelling in the aircraft were:—Air Force: SquadronLeader V. B. de la Perelle, Winton-Flight-Lieutenant H. S. Pettit Wellington; Warrant-Officer R. J. Reid Wellington. Army (Australian forces): Driver D. L. Cressy, Mount Eden. Nurses: Sister M. A. North Sister M. K. Thompson. Civilians (including volunteer forces): W. E Coates, Christchurch; A. R. Mitchell Hastings; W. W. Rae, Aucl-land; P.' D. Sladden, Nelson. j
