POLES REPATRIATED
AMERICANS SPEED UP SCHEME Rec. 11 a.m. BERLIN. October 7. The repatriation of Poles from the American occupation zone is now being speeded up. More than 5000 a day are returning home. The operation recently was held up when the United States authorities refused to send any more trains because so few returned.
One hundred thousand Poles are expected to leave by the end of October.
