WELLINGTON, this day.
The Government had made certain promises during the war and its intention was to redeem those, promises, whether it meant the retention of present controls or not, stated Mr. Hackett (Govt., Grey Lvnn) in the House of Representatives last night when speaking in the second reading debate on the Fmolovment Bill.
