PROBATION FOR OLD MAN

Arthur Lewis Cummings (74), a carpenter (Mr. Dickson), who had been found guilty of an indecent assault on a young girl in a picture theatre, was admitted by Mr. Justice Cornish to probation for two years on an undertaking being made by prisoner's brother to take care of him. Special conditions of the probation were that the prisoner pay £15 costs and should keep away from picture theatres and other places where children congregated.
