DEATH OF WINCHMAN

O.C. CAMBRIDGE, Friday. A winchman, Mr. Timothy Heke Matakohe, aged 45, married, employed at the Karapiro hydro, was found dead in the winchhouse early to-day. When it was seen that the cable-, way was not operating, workmen made inquiry over the field telephone and received no response. Investigations disclosed Mr. Matakohe lying dead on the floor of the winchhouse.

The deceased had not been well lately, and death has been certified as due to natural causes. He leaves a wife and family.
