BRITISH EVACUEE CHILDREN

A party of about 40 British children who were evacuated to NewZealand early in the war will leave Auckland next week for Britain. Books and appropriate letters bearing the seal of the city and the signatures of the Mayor, Mr. Allum, and the town clerk, Mr. T. W. M. A.shby, have been sent to the 12 children from the Auckland district who are included in the party. The evacuees will be visited at the Methodist Health Camp at Campbell's Bay on Monday afternoon by the Commissioner for the United Kingdom in New Zealand, Sir Patrick Duff, and Lady Duff.
