REGULATIONS AGAINST COLDS
Can you imagine a charge like this: "The defendant is charged with negligence is falling to take the necessary precautions to avoid catching cold, or alternately is charged with allowing a cold to persist, thereby unlawfully causing the spread of* infection to the detriment of the general health of the community." We are never likely to have legislation that would make such a charge possible, but we are guilty of negligence If we do not, in our own interests as well as in the interests of the community, do everything possible to minimise the effect of colds.
