WELLINGTON, this day. i Men on leave from' the Sixteenth Keinforcements would not be recalled to camp, and about 2000 of them were farm workers, said the Minister of Agriculture, Mr. Roberts, in the Budget debate in the House of Representatives this morning,] when explaining how more men. would become available for primary production. He added that no more men would be mobilised and that overseas forces would be returned home more quickly than was expected. Denying contentions of falling production, he said that the butterfat average per cow in the Ave prewar years was 2371b. During the last five years that had risen to 2481b. and the estimate for the current season was 2551b.
