ON 'CHANGE BANK SHARES EASIER RISE IX DOMINION BREWERIES Contrasting with the strong forward movement in other classes of shares and in gilt-edged stocks, bank scrip was easier on the Auckland Stock Exchange to-day. both Nationals of New Zealand and Unions registering small losses. Bank of New Zealand ordinaries were unchanged at £2 10/6, though the D mortgage shares were firmer. A reaction took place in Broken Hill Proprietary, which were quitted at £2 7/9—down 3d. Elsewhere values were steady to firmer. Dominion Breweries were keenly sought and four parcels were placed at £2 13/, a rise of 9d.
