LEAGUE AXt) SOCCER Four of the best teams in the competition will meet at Carlaw Park tomorrow afternoon in the first round of the major championship. The chief attraction will be the match between Otahuhu, winners of the minor championship, and Ponsonby. The early game will be between Richmond and Mount Albert. „ , _ The first round of the Falcon Cup Soccer competition will be played at Blandford Park to-morrow. The main game will be between EafSern Suburbs and Thistle at 3 p.m. Whenuapal and Metro College will provide the curtainraiser. Arrangements have been made for a friendly match to be played at Devonport at 3 p.m. between North Shore and Ponsonby Soccer Clubs.
