SUPREME COURT CASES

In charging the Grand Jury to-day at the opening of the criminal session in the Supreme Court. Mr. Justice Callan reviewed the 23 indictments to be considered by them. His Honor suggested that there was evidence justifying true bills in 22 of the indictments. On the other indictment, against a farmer, who was charged with receiving road metal, the property of the Air Force, knowing it to have been stolen, his Honor said he felt there was some doubt if a common jury would convict on the evidence.
