PUBLIC NOTICES _ TRANSPORT LICENSING ACT, 1931 AND ITS ' AMENDMENTS. Public notice is hereby siven that the Auckland Transport Board, as Metropolitan Licensing' Authority for the Auckland Transport District, will hold a meeting on MONDAY. 30th April, 1945. at 10.30 a.m., in the Recreation Room. First Floor, of the Tramway Building, 43, Customs Street West, Auckland, for the purpose of considering certain applications (as set out below) regarding: (1) RENEWAL OF CONTINUOUS TAXICAB SERVICE LICENSES. For the purpose of facilitating the hearing of applications for renewal of continuous taxic&b service licenses, the Authority has divided existing licensees under certain classifications, and at this meeting it will consider representative applications from each class. The classifications and the applicants to be heard at the meeting are as follows: (1) SINGLE LICENSE HOLDERS: G. S. Campbell (public), J. Simm (public), F. Laver (private). (2) MULTIPLE LICENSE HOLDERS (Public): F. G. Wain, L. St. J. McGuire, R. T. Hawthorne. (3) MULTIPLE LICENSE HOLDERS (Private): Johnstons Blue Motors, Mrs. J. C. Douglas. (4) MULTIPLE LICENSE HOLDERS (Funeral Directors): Watney Sibun and Sons. (2) VARIATION OF CERTAIN TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS' PROVIDED BY THE PRESENT TAXICAB SERVICE LICENSES (Public). An application by Mr. G. S. Campbell for such variation will be heard at this meeting. The applications above set out will be treated as test cases, on which general evidence and representations relating to ail similar applications will be received. All applicants and interested parties who desire to give evidence or make representations are requested to be present or represented. The applications of other licensees will be dealt with by the Authority at a later meeting. Any • further information required may be obtained from the Secretary.
