Cook, of 15, Kingsley Street, Grey Lynn, and Warrant-Officer Archibald Lyster, A.F., returned from overseas, youngest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Fell, of Konu Kohu, Hokianga. Chalkle.v —Deadman.—The engagement is announced between Charles Erie, only son of Mrs. K. Chalkley, of Westnieie. and Doreen Margaret, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Deadman, of Balmoral.

MacKenzie —Adamson. — The engagement is announced between Molly, youngest daughter of Mr .and Mrs. C. A. Adamson, Green Bay, New Lynn, and John Arthur, only son of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. MacKenzie, 875, Mount Eden Road, Auckland.

Cross —Morris.—The engagement- is announced between Gordon Stafford, youngest son of Mrs. M. H. Cross, of Mount Albert, and Jean Alma, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Morris, of Mount Albert.
