WORK OF SUB-CENTRE
ONE TREE HILL BRANCH
The fifth annual meeting of the One Tree Hill sub-centre of the NewZealand Red Cross Society was held in the Fire Brigade Hall, Green Lane. The meeting was well attended, and the annual, report showed that the members Had been very active in all branches of Red Cross work, throughout the year.
The following officers were elected: President, Mr. I. J. Goldstine; vicepresidents, Mrs. J. Ma.ther, Sister I. MacElwain, Dr. R. Wagstaff; chairman, Mrs. O. Jensen; secretary, Miss R. Cleave; treasurer, Mrs. E. Holebrook; executive committee, Mesdames Angus, Lindberg, Haydon, Rowe, Austin, Coldham, Webb, Lisk; delegates to Auckland centre, Mrs. O. Jensen, Miss R. Cleave. DEVONPORT BRANCH A satisfactory year's work was reported at the annual meeting of the Devonport sub-centre of the New Zealand Red Cross Society (Inc.). Colonel A. B. Carmichael presiding. The following officers were elected: President, Colonel A. B. Carmichael; vice-presidents, Mrs. Clark-Walker, Rev. Father Furlong and Rev. Canon Stanton; chairman, Mr. W. Taggart; hon. treasurer, Miss R. Keyworth; hon. secretary, Miss R. Clench; committee, Mesdames Baxter, Carmichael, Clench, Cook, Gladding, Joughin, Mullan, Somerville, Taggart, Watson, Miss Wight, Messrs. Jackson and Snook"; delegates to Auckland centre, Mrs. A. E. Carraichael and Mr. W. Taggart.
