THROWN FROM HORSE

FATAL HEAD INJURIES O.C. HAMILTON, Thursday. Head injuries, which later proved fatal, were received by the wife of a Te Miro settler when she was thrown heavily from a horse she was riding last evening. She was Mrs. Nora Grey, aged 47, wife of Mr. Alan Grey, of Te Miro, Cambridge. The horse took fright and bolted and Mrs. Grey was thrown when it failed to negotiate a bend in the road. She was admitted to the Waikato Hospital, but died early this morning. Mrs. Grey was a keen horsewoman and she and her husband were among the first settlers of the Te Miro soldiers' settlement. She is survived by her husband and a daughter.
