PERSONAL
Air Commodore S. Wallingford has been appointed a member of the Canteen Board in place of Air Commodore F. E. T. Hewlett, who has retired. Mr. P. B. Wright has been nominated for the vacancy on the. Public Service Board of Appeal. The only other nomination is that of Mr. A. E. Crimp, deputy-registrar of the Supreme Court of Invercargill. Mr. R. M. Page has resumed his position as engineer for the Waitemata County Council, after four and a-half years' active war service. The acting county engineer, Mr. R. G. Lysnar, who has been with the council for seven years, has resigned.
