GREY BAR CONDITIONS
GREYMOUTH, Thursday. There was an abatement of the heavy seas on the Greymouth bar to-clay, as a result of which the Kartigi was able to berth to load coal for Auckland, after waiting since yesterday in the roadstead. The lvartigi's cargo of coal has been in trucks on the wharf for some time awaiting her berthing. She should get away on to-morrow night's "tide.
