SEEDS FOR RUSSIA
Nearly 5001b of seeds have been sent from New Zealand to Russia. The idea of thus assisting the Soviet Union originated in the Christchurch branch of the Society for Closer Relations with the U.S.S.R. It has now been decided to commence a campaign immediately for the raising of funds for seetfs, and it is anticipated that the appeal will meet with a satisfactory response. '
