OTAGO V. CANTERBURY P.A. DUNEDIN, this day. The women's interprovincial cricket matches! Otago v. Canterbury, were resumed this morning. In the senior game at the end of yesterday's play Canterbury had lost four wickets for 181 (Blackler 100 not out) in response to Otago's first innings of 74. The highlight of this morning's play was the form of Miss Blackler, who is undefeated with 133, representing the highest score regis« tered in the interprovincial series. She gave three chances, two of them after she had reached her century. For a woman cricketer she impressed with her forceful batting, hitting 21 fours. Canterbury, seven for 232, declared. In the junior match Canterbury yesterday made 239 (Heaton 59, Berg 39 Doubleday 33) and Otago had lost one wicket for 11. At stumps and this morning Otago had scored 94 for four.
