ABSENT AMERICANS
Rec. 2.30 p.m. LONDON, Feb. 2. American Army Headquarters officially has stated that 8000 soldiers are absent without leave. Reuters correspondent at Allied Supreme Headquarters says the previous announcement that be■tween 18,000 and 19,000 were absent was based on an incorrect computation.
