MAY END TO-MORROW

OHAI MINE HOLD-UP

TRUCKERS ON THEIR WAY P.A. INVERCARGILL, this day. For the third successive day the Linton mine at Ohai was again idle to-day. The men reported for work this morning but a meeting was held at which it was decided that if sufficient trackers arrived in the district to-night under manpower direction, work would be resumed to-morrow.

Five truckers are expected to arrive to-night and accommodation has been found for them. One trucker has already arrived. The men agreed this morning that if this number of truckers is available, they will resume work to-morrow. The meeting lasted until 9.30, the men then returning to their homes.
