TOTALS ABOVE AVERAGE The -rainfall- for December, 5.35 in, was more than double the average for the month cf 2.58 in. The total for the year just ended was 48.83 in, compared with the average yearly rainfall over 88 years of 44.69 in. During December the average maximum temperature was 61.41 degrees, compared with 72.72 degrees in December, 1943. The extreme maximum was 74.80 degree, compared with 78.80 degrees. There were 18 days with rain, and hail fell on two days. There were 237 hours 18 minutes of sunshine, compared with 257 hours the previous December. The mean barometric pressure for the month was 29.781 in, compared with 30.007 in in the same month last year.
