HUNS IN FINLAND
Withdrawal To Norway Denied By The Finns FIGHTING CONTINUING Rec. 1.30 p.m. LONDON, Dec. 29. The German announcement that all Germans in North Finland had withdrawn to Norway is officially denied by the Finns, who announce that their infantry and artillery continue action against Germans in the north-western part of Finnish Lapland. Observation from the Swedish side of the frontier confirms that the Germans still hold positions north-west of Karesuando.
